影片讲述了昆明翠湖畔的一段家庭往事。老人树文在丧妻后想要重启人生新的情感阶段，却与女儿们爆发冲突，在这场冲突中让他看清自己在家庭里的“缺位”，也促使他重新承担起家长的责任，在直面三代人，三个家庭之间深藏的遗憾与隐痛的过程中，展开了一段寻求和解的温情旅程。

崔迎阶到汾州的第二年，德高望重的琴界泰斗焦师父宣布退位，为琴谱寻找接班人。在皇上的推崇下，崔应阶临危受命，面对无人帮助的困境，遇上身处窘境的平民琴师王受白。 经历30 年，二人最终成为知音，并完成琴谱。

影片讲述以与众不同的教育观念获得学生们的欢迎，但在老师同事间遭受白眼的熙珠（全昭旻 饰），和讨厌异想天开的18岁高中生纯情（全度延 饰）的相遇。
